Chris,
Thanks for the kudos on the site and the book. Glad you’re finding them both useful. Thanks also for the link to the spec sheet, although it would appear that this spec sheet is actually older than the last update on my site.
The reason my specs for that oil have not been updated is because when I downloaded all the spec sheets from the site this last time around, there wasn’t an updated sheet for this oil.
If you check the properties for the PDF file at the link you provided, it indicates this file was last updated/modified in 2008. So, it would appear that this is not an updated spec sheet, but rather an older one that a distributor (lubeoil.com: Western States Oil) has not updated on their site.
Thanks for “keeping me honest”, though. That’s how we make sure this site continues to be a useful resource.
I hope that you also have a Prosperous and Happy New Year.

Dear Mr. Kaufman,
Wow! Such a fast response! And I wasn’t even expecting one! I really appreciate that.
Sorry I did not realize the spec sheet I saw was out of date. Thanks for the clarification.
Anyway, I have learned so much from your work. And I look forward to learning more.
Fascinating topic. Thanks again.
Hope we all have a Safe and Healthy New Year!!
Yours truly,
Chris Ikaris
