Actually, what you found was an error in the database. The kinematic viscosity numbers listed for the Castrol Edge 0w30 SPT product were grabbed from the 5w20 SPT product, which sits in the column next to it on the spec sheet.
The data has been corrected. Thank you for the heads up.

Thank you very much for the prompt clarification and correction!
I paid close attention to the apparent difference in the specifications because there have been a lot of questions and doubts raised by many people about the actual quality of Castrol’s products.
I assume that since the specifications for Castrol Edge w/SPT 0W-30 are the same as Syntec 0W-30 then it is the same product with just a new name. It is nice to know that “German Castrol” has probably not changed.
